Great News: Orioles Trey Mancini Should Be Ready For Spring Training After Missing Last Season With Colon Cancer
Some amazing news to report. After missing all of the 2020 season to chemotherapy for colon cancer, Orioles outfielder Trey Mancini is expected to be ready for spring training.
Recent blood work showed no tumor DNA, clearing Mancini's path back to the field in 2021. Strength and conditioning are expected to be major hurdles for the outfielder, so Mancini has already begun training five days a week.
As of now, everything's a go for the fan-favorite Trey Mancini heading into next season. We're thrilled for the young man and his family, and we're looking forward to seeing the impact he will have on the Orioles going forward. He has to be the early front-runner for Comeback Player of the Year.
Welcome back, Mr. Mancini
