40-year-old Nelson Cruz Still Hitting Bombs

Nelson Cruz turns 41 in July, but apparently no one has told him that. In Monday's exhibition against the Atlanta Braves, Cruz took a Kyle Wright 0-1 fastball 426 feet off the scoreboard in left field:

It might be time for Vegas to take bets on who retires first: Nelson Cruz or Tom Brady. Lucky for Cruz, he can become a power-hitting DH when he no longer has the energy to play defense. As long as the 16-year vet can swing a bat, he's got a DH gig lined up somewhere.
