Wearing a mask pays off in Vegas

Imagine getting $20 in free play for wearing a mask. That's exactly what went down over the weekend at Caesars properties. "The company, in a brilliant bit of innovation, surprised guests wearing masks by giving them $20 in free play. The giveaways occurred at all five Caesars properties that have reopened — Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas, the Flamingo, the Linq and Harrah’s Las Vegas — and were provided to members of the company’s Caesars Rewards points program."

My grandparents used to get little TVs and toasters from Bob Stupak at Vegas World. Now here we are in 2020 and people are getting credits for masking up. If masking up keeps Vegas open, then more casinos need to do this. I remember being at Macy's in NYC during the Christmas shopping season and people going nuts over $10 toasters. I'm thinking downtown casinos can get off cheaper than Caesars by giving away a few thousand toasters and maybe a couple koozies. People love koozies and toasters.
