NFL Insider® John Clayton Rage Tweets On AT&T
NFL Insider® John Clayton has found himself in the middle of a fight between broadcasting company Tegna and AT&T, as the two sides once again battle it out over carriage fees. Tegna has played its trump card and yanked affiliates off Directv and UVerse, doing it Tuesday night, hours before Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was to be shown across the country on Tegna-owned CBS affiliates.
The timing couldn't have been worse for parents who've yet to cut the cord and who had to explain to their children that Rudolph wouldn't be available on their cable boxes. Tegna also owns NBC affiliates, and that's where John Clayton comes into the picture.
He's furious with AT&T because his wife won't be able to watch today's Ravens-Steelers game or his weekly TV appearance. He's also miffed about some Sunday Ticket thing going on with his account. I'll tell you what. Find your favorite Slayer song -- I recommend "Raining Blood (Live)" at the 1:10 mark -- on YouTube and press play while reading these rage tweets John has sent out.
Whew. Now I need a drink and a smoke, and I don't even smoke. The last person AT&T should've played games with is Professor Clayton.
