New York City Marathon Set To Return To Normal November Date
Forever bozo and current governor of New York City Andrew Cuomo announced Monday that the New York City Marathon will return November 7. They're still limiting participation to 33,000 from the normal 55,000, which makes zero scientific sense as COVID rarely spreads outdoors, but at least they're close to normal.
Can't expect their leadership to get anything done properly at this point.
It's tough to pinpoint why liberals in this country refuse to question local leadership as to why Arizona, Florida, and Texas can operate full force, while they can't. Are the civilians special in those "free" states? It's more probable that they insist on following the science, and New York is still failing at that phony mission. Liberal leaders are simply taking turns making gutless strides to appease their social media following.
The CDC announced late last week that the vaccinated no longer have to wear masks, and President Joe Biden praised the findings. Not only are they right to celebrate our transition towards normalcy, but I believe we should take that joy a step further and unleash the United States to maximize capacity -- everywhere.
If Texas can have bars, restaurants, and stadiums packed full of fans and declining COVID deaths all at the same time, then surely New York can too? We'll see how long these makeshift protocols last before the people of New York insist they've had enough.
