Just Who Is In Charge? Psaki Tells Biden Not To Take Questions
White House press secretary Jen Psaki has finally admitted to political consultant David Axelrod that she tells President Joe Biden not to 'take questions.' Most often a president's cerebrum will fire properly to make these type of decisions on his own and we like to call that "reading the room."
But when you're 78-years-old, have stolen an election, and can barely read your teleprompter -- it's understandable that he needs some assistance. Don't sweat it, Jen. You're an overpaid nanny.
"A lot of times, we say, 'Don't take questions," Psaki said. "But he's going to to do what he wants to do because he's the president of the United States."
"The first time I traveled with him, he took questions from the pool three times that day, and I thought, 'Am I going to be fired when I get back?'" she continued. "So he does do that, and he likes doing that. I mean, the thing is, he likes the press corps and likes that back-and-forth and that engagement."
I don't know what type of news she thought she was breaking by telling us he has the authority to override her advice? Yes, Ms. Psaki, we already know you're an advisor because you give advice and then people do what they feel like, most often, after they've heard your two cents. However, there's a difference between taking advice and letting someone put their hands on the wheel.
And I feel like it's quite the stretch to say Biden "enjoys that back-and-forth" to the same media he's avoided like the plague. Joe Biden likes answering teed up questions where he barely has to break a sweat. Who doesn't? But don't come out here describing your efforts to control a straight-shooter. Biden ain't that.
It gets funnier from political consultant David Axelrod:
"His strength is that he says what's on his mind, and his weakness is he says what's on his mind, and sometimes that's not helpful," Axelrod said.
Apparently Psaki recognized and agreed with this statement.
"We're never going to satisfy the White House Press Corps and their desires for access, and I think there have been mistakes made in the past trying to do that," Psaki said.
Ya here that? The White House press secretary basically told the media, "We'll never satisfy you, so we won't try." She insists that working to please the media (the people, really) only leads to mistakes. We know if Psaki and Biden lead a brigade towards transparency and availability, disaster will strike. They're complete morons, which is why we never wanted them in office to begin with. Get it?
Joe Biden is an old man who strays off onto the lawn and tells stories to his neighbors. He's really not even the enemy because he has no clue how or why he got here. The only thing Biden understands is that the system was rigged to make this whole thing go. He's a puppet, and his puppet masters need to control him.
Read a teleprompter, get off the stage when we say, use an American tragedy for political power when we tell you to, and shut up when we insist. Biden is doing just that and he'll only get better at it. For now, Americans will do their best to pull information out of the president to better understand where he's leading this train wreck. Helps to know that the levy is Jen Psaki...
