Gov. Andrew Cuomo to Earn $5 Mil For Book on COVID and Leadership Advice

If it weren't for Gov. Gavin Newsom, Gov. Andrew Cuomo would definitely have earned the title of "Worst Governor of 2020." Because of Newsom, we must say "probably."

Before it was clear that Cuomo's handling of COVID-ridden nursing homes last year was destructive, deadly and dishonest, the national media portrayed Cuomo as a hero. A voice of reason. The future of the Democrat Party. Cuomo's spin-jobs earned him nightly TV appearances and a book deal for American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

That title, utterly devoid of self-awareness, quickly became nauseating. Really, this is the guy who is giving us advice on COVID and leadership? The book deal was no small agreement either. According to the New York Times, the deal is expected to hand Chris Cuomo's big brother $5 million.

$5 million to write a book on a topic he knows nothing about. That's called a good gig. Just so publishers are aware, I'm willing to do the same on parenting advice.

Despite the nursing home death coverup and multiple allegations of sexual harassment, Cuomo's name hasn't been in the news much of late. Even New York Attorney General Letitia James' investigation into the governor’s use of state resources for the book has gone away.

Somehow, someway things are again looking up Andrew Cuomo.
