Georgia Gov. Kemp Roasts Biden On All-Star Game Stance
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp did not hold back on President Joe Biden for his criticism of Georgia's new voting restrictions. Biden compared the law to "21st century Jim Crow," and Kemp was having none of that. He also took exception to the president's support of moving the MLB All-Star game out of Atlanta, which to be fair, is absurd:
"When the president of the United States says something, you know a lot of people pay attention. But what Joe Biden needs to do is look at a side-by-side of Georgia and Delaware," Kemp said. "He's focused on trying to get Major League Baseball to pull the game out of Georgia, which is ridiculous."
Georgia's law will require ID verification for absentee voters, and that's all it takes to be compared to Jim Crow these days. What's most notable here is that discourse is not allowed. Want voter ID in your home state? Well, now you have the president of the United States campaigning against you and quite literally attempting to damage your local economy. You can't even send tweets that the mainstream media disagrees with or you risk being banned from all social media platforms at once.
Now we have Joe Biden, who can barely walk up a flight of steps, basically requiring the country to run how he sees fit. It's authoritarian, and the American people cannot accept this kind of behavior.
Here's what Biden had to say about the All-Star Game:
"I think today's professional athletes are acting incredibly responsibly," Biden said in an interview with ESPN. "I would strongly support them doing that (moving the game). People look up to them. They're leaders."
First off, the American people don't look up to professional athletes or celebrities in general. But this is exactly what Joe Biden and the mainstream media want. Use celebrity worship to funnel the middle class into behaving exactly how they want them to behave, think the way they want them to think and talk the way they want them to talk. In this case, Biden wants voter regulations that benefit Democrat leadership, which of course is backed by the celebrities themselves -- and he wants you to want them too.
It's a scene straight out of Kingsman. Hopefully Gov. Brian Kemp wins this battle because he's serving as a levy against big government.
