Fox Sports Signs Jordan Palmer, Alex Faust For TSL Football Broadcasts

FOX Sports has signed Jordan Palmer and Alex Faust as broadcasters for the inaugural season of The Spring League, sources tell OutKick.

The TSL will air weekdays on FS1 over the course of seven weeks and feature several former college quarterbacks, including Zach Mettenberger from LSU, J. T. Barrett from Ohio State, and Shea Patterson from the University of Michigan. The show kicks off Tuesday, October 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Since playing seven seasons in the NFL, Palmer has become a renowned football guru. Palmer's recent trainees include Joe Burrow, DeShaun Watson, Josh Allen, and Sam Darnold. In addition to his role with the TSL, Palmer could be an intriguing addition to FOX's other football properties.

Alex Faust is the lead television play-by-play announcer of the Los Angeles Kings and calls games for NBC's NHL package.

FOX will not use a sideline reporter on its coverage, sources add.

The TSL features six teams in a 12-game format over four weeks.

As part of the agreement, FOX Sports has an option to acquire a minority equity stake in the TSL.
