Former Gator QB, Jesse Palmer Tabbed As Next 'Bachelor' Host

Uncork the wine and grab the tissues, ladies. Jesse Palmer's on board to navigate you through the rollercoaster of love once again, this time as the host of The Bachelor. The former SEC quarterback accepted the role to become a regular part of must-see suburban mom TV, replacing cancel culture victim, Chris Harrison.

After starring on the football field at the University of Florida, Palmer spent a handful of years as a backup in the NFL before embarking on a career in media.

Palmer appears eager to help a couple of lovebirds connect. "For more than 20 years, ‘The Bachelor’ has brought the world dozens of unforgettable love stories, including at one time, my own. Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey," said a Palmer, upon being announced as the show's new host.

The role shouldn't require much prep. While a member of the 49ers, Palmer appeared on the sappy reality show as the Bachelor himself, handing out roses as frequently as he did touchdowns once upon a time. Shockingly, his own Bachelor romance didn't last.

Palmer, 42, steps in for Chris Harrison, who fell victim to the woke mob after he defended a former female contestant for attending an Old South Antebellum Ball while in college.

Assuming Palmer can steer clear of offending anyone, he'll begin hosting duties for the show's 26th season, set to air in early 2022.
