Florida Man Arrested After Heated Argument Over Tom Brady
A drunk, "heated argument" over Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady landed one Florida man behind bars this weekend.
Police say a verbal altercation erupted on the ride home between a group of friends who had been day drinking, and things got ugly when Brady was brought up.
Brian Paulter was charged with domestic battery after police say the 33-year-old "became enraged" following the heated argument about the QB, which led to a physical fight, according to his arrest affidavit.
Police say Paulter and one of his friends got into a physical fight once they got home, and he hit the other man multiple times in the face, causing "visible injuries and a lot of blood."
Paulter then went inside the residence and "became combative with the male friends wife and later shoved her and his own wife causing her to slip and hit her head," the arrest affidavit states.
" was intoxicated at the time of the offense along with all other subjects present," Pinellas County Sheriff's Officers wrote in the report.
