Even 'Morning Joe' Crushed President Biden For All-Star Confusion
President Joe Biden encouraged MLB to move its All-Star Game out of Atlanta, claiming that Georgia's voting bill is "Jim Crow 2.0." Oddly, Tuesday, a day after the game was relocated to Colorado, Biden warned about the consequences of moving a major event, saying it ends "up hurting the people who need help the most."
Those two stances, separated by less than a week, don't add up. So, either Biden forgot his initial public stance on moving sporting events out of Georgia or -- hopefully -- he realized this has gone too far and that relocating games over a non-racist bill is incredibly foolish. Whichever it is, even Morning Joe -- a morning show that supports cancel culture -- is crushing Biden for his flip-flop.
Scarborough asked if it seems "that a lot of people jumped the gun." That is an obvious "yes," but what response to the cancel culture movement hasn't? That's an obvious "none."
“When you line this bill up with what the laws were before the pandemic and what the laws are in states like New York, it is not Jim Crow 2.0,” Scarborough said.
Did anyone know that admitting as much was allowed on MSNBC? Now, that's a good question.
Though it's unclear what Biden's view on moving sporting events out of Georgia is today, it's undoubtedly amusing knowing yesterday's comments had to make Rob Manfred feel like a fool.
