Chris Wallace Leaving Fox News To Join CNN+

Chris Wallace announced on FOX News Sunday that he will depart Fox News effective immediately.

Here's Wallace's announcement:



“I want to try something new, to go beyond politics to all the things I’m interested in. I’m ready for a new adventure," Wallace.

Sources tell OutKick that Chris Wallace will join CNN+, a streaming service WarnerMedia will launch in Q1 2022. Variety first mentioned that Wallace could head to CNN+ on Sunday.

UPDATE: CNN confirms it has signed Chris Wallace as an anchor for CNN+. Wallace’s new show will air weekdays on CNN+ and feature interviews with newsmakers across politics, business, sports, and culture.

"We are extremely proud of our journalism and the stellar team that Chris Wallace was a part of for 18 years," Fox News said in a statement.

Wallace's contract was set to expire this year. Sources add it was his decision to leave the network.

OutKick has learned that FNC will rotate the following anchors among others on FOX News Sunday: Bret Baier, Bill Hemmer, John Roberts, Shannon Bream, Neil Cavuto, Martha MacCallum, and Jennifer Griffin and Harris Faulkner.

Fox News will name a permanent host at a later time.

"The legacy of FOX News Sunday will continue with our star journalists, many of whom will rotate in the position until a permanent host is named," Fox News adds.
