Alabama's Fall Plans: No Capacity Restrictions in Classrooms, Stadiums
The University of Alabama plans to lift all capacity restrictions and return to face-to-face operations by fall — including in football stadiums — the university announced Monday.
The University of Alabama and all schools in the University of Alabama System plan to return to traditional in-person instruction without restrictions on classroom capacity for Fall 2021.
“The return to normal operations would not be possible without the leadership of our campus presidents…who have skillfully implemented the health and safety measures recommended by our world-renowned medical experts," the university said.
Alabama also said it is moving forward with plans for a full stadium this fall. The Crimson Tide will host their first game against the Miami Hurricanes at home on Sept. 4.
