Man Goes For Swim In Louisiana Bass Pro Shops Aquarium

We have ourselves another Bass Pro Shops aquarium swimmer, this time at the Bossier City, Louisiana location where a guy went for a swim Thursday before running out of the store. You might remember back in mid-May when a similar scenario at a southwest Florida Bass Pro where a guy took a similar swim.

The Bossier City police department has arrested Kevin Wise, 26, of Slidell, Louisiana for the latest aquarium swim. He’s been charged with simple criminal damage to property. Kevin seems to be guilty since he’s been sharing a GoFundMe to help pay his fines.

From KTAL:

Louisiana police say they are trying to identify the man who slid into the aquarium at Bass Pro Shops in Bossier City on Thursday and took a swim before climbing out and running out of the store.

According to Bossier City authorities, a complaint was filed Friday morning after the business determined that there would be costs associated with emptying and cleaning the 13,000-gallon aquarium, which features species of fish local to the region.

If you think this is crazy, there’s a video from 2019 showing a kid catching a monster bass out of a Pro Shops aquarium. It’s unclear whether there’s some sort of Facebook Group out there that comes up with these stunts. It’s turning into Bass Pro Shops version of fans running on a field.
