Louisiana Football Analyst Expects These Two New Schools to Be in Play for Arch Manning

We've been covering Arch Manning -- son of Cooper, nephew of Eli and Peyton, grandson of Archie -- a decent amount in recent weeks:

Now, Mike Detiller, who covers football for a variety of outlets in Louisiana, joined After Further Review on 104.5 ESPN in Baton Rouge, and gave his opinion on where he thinks Arch Manning could go:

Detiller clarified that he was voicing his opinion and not reporting this as a fact, but felt that Oklahoma and Clemson, which both have great track records of developing quarterbacks of late, will have a great shot at landing Arch. Detiller also scoffed at the idea of Ole Miss -- where Cooper, Eli, and Archie played -- of having a shot at Arch, calling the family pedigree there as well as the program's success ancient history. Further, Detiller believed LSU was a "longshot".

Detiller said that Arch's game reminds him more of Archie than Eli and Peyton, because of an ability to make plays with his feet, and predicted he would be the most highly coveted recruit ever to come out of the state of Louisiana.

Arch threw 34 touchdown passes as a freshman; here's his sizzle reel:
