Video: Alligator Eats Fish During Golf Broadcast
Some people tuned in to watch the WGC-Workday championship at the Concession on Saturday. With all the unfortunate news with the Tiger Woods accident, the golf world has had an interesting week.
Well, the week isn't over yet.
During the broadcast of Saturday's tournament, the crew caught something interesting on camera. It was a great angle of an alligator enjoying a fresh meal. CJ Fogler shared the video on Twitter, and his capture summed things up nicely.
"Things I did not expect to see on a golf broadcast"
You've got to love the commitment to getting the shot. Did it give Chubbs from Happy Gilmore horrific flashbacks? Probably, but combining the Golf Channel and the Discovery Channel into one broadcast was a phenomenal idea for the rest of us.
Intentional? Eh, doesn't matter. It works, so run with it.
As it sits, Collin Morikawa has a two-shot lead (-15) on Brooks Koepka and Billy Horschel, who both currently sit at -13. We only have Sunday to go, and who knows, maybe we'll have a return visit from our alligator buddy.
I'm sure he'll be hungry again by that point.
