Busch Gardens Salutes Tampa Bay Lightning With Free Beer For Guests
Spending the day baking in the Florida sun at an amusement park just became a lot more tolerable. Following the Tampa Bay Lightning’s Stanley Cup win, Tampa’s Busch Gardens announced that they're honoring the accomplishment by offering park goers free beer for the rest of July.
For thirsty visitors 21 years of age and older, the celebratory suds are available beginning at 11:30 am inside the park's Garden Gate Café and will continue pouring until one hour before close. And since the Lightning won back-to-back cups, the park is giving away not one, but two free brews for each guest, via 7oz. drafts.
The complimentary brews became a reality after Tampa Bay hoisted Lord Stanley for the second consecutive season, defeating Montreal four games to one. Wednesday night's deciding fifth game was clinched in front of more than 18,000 fans at Tampa's Amalie Arena.
Wildlife throughout Busch Gardens wasted little time celebrating Tampa Bay's third Stanley Cup win.
Busch Gardens Tampa is home to Florida's tallest roller coaster - the SheiKra, which stands 200 feet tall and sends riders on a thrill ride at close to 70 miles per hour.
I'd recommend holding off on the beers until after the SheiKra.
