You're Welcome, Nashville! McDonald's Is Bringing Breakfast Bagels!

McDonald's in Nashville, Tennessee is bringing back breakfast bagels because of yours truly.

If there was ever a truer "Not all heroes wear capes" it's this. What can I say, I'm a man of the people (and their stomachs!) By the way, my Venmo is open and anyone who wishes to thank me can do so with no objections on my part. 

BISCUITS STINK, BAGEL RULE

Beginning next Monday, March 25th, Mickey D's fans will be able to enjoy the deliciousness of a breakfast bagel - be it bacon, sausage, or steak with egg and cheese, and when I tell you that my mouth is watering from just thinking about it… my God let's go!

The move comes after many months of me publicly tweeting the restaurant chain about the need for bagels down here in Nashville. Eventually, the store's manager got tired of me annoying him and put it to a vote if they should bring bagels to the store's location on Broadway. An overwhelming majority of respondents voted ‘Yes’ and now we are just days away from the breakfast bagel launch party. Now why am I all about the breakfast bagel? Well, as a lifelong New Jersey / New Yorker, if I have another doughy, stale, way too fluffy breakfast biscuit I'm going to lose my mind - I'm that over eating biscuits. For years, while I was on air at ABC Radio doing the morning show in New York City, I would walk downstairs from Madison Square Garden into the cesspool that is Penn Station just to grab McDonald's breakfast. I literally put my life on the line every trip just to crave my breakfast needs.

Oh, and let's not forget about them being a hangover remedy - something we can all relate to!
