WWII Hero Gives Must-Watch Patriotic Speech At The RNC

WWII veteran William Pekrul brought down the house Wednesday night at the RNC.

The D-Day veteran addressed the crowd and talked about how this country is absolutely still worth fighting for. There's no question at all that his assessment is correct. The USA is awesome, and it's 100% worth protecting and defending.

However, the message hits a bit different when a 98-year-old WWII vet shares it.

WWII veteran gives awesome speech at the RNC.

"There aren't many [WWII vets] left today, but those of us who are here, that America is still worth fighting for," Pekrul said as he hit the crowd with an energetic fist pump. He also said he'd be happy to return to the military if Trump returns to the White House as President.

"President Trump back in Commander-in-Chief, I would go back to re-enlist today and I would storm whatever beach my country needs me to," Pekrul continued.

If that speech didn't pull at your emotions, then I think you might want to check to make sure you still have a pulse and are alive. It was absolutely incredible, and the fact he teared up when talking about surviving the war and making it home was a punch right to the heart.

If you only watch one video today, this one might need to be it. Also, there simply aren't many WWII veterans left. It won't be long before they're all gone.

Get to know one and learn their story while you still can. You'd be shocked by how many veterans are willing to talk about war. All that needs to happen is someone needs to ask.

Shoutout to Pekrul for the awesome speech and reminding people that America is worth defending. Let me know what you thought of his speech at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
