A Very Sick Dog And Plenty Of Alcohol For OutKick Readers | Weekend Recap
Another great weekend is behind us, and that means it's time for the best part of Monday:
In some unusual news, the Badgers didn't play this weekend. That means I didn't have to spend Saturday or Sunday sweating out whether or not Wisconsin would find a way to break my heart in humiliating fashion. I guess not playing, and thus, not losing is a win in its own kind of depressing way.
That left me with more free time than usual. How did I spend it? Friday night, I got to spend time with some great Americans from the military community. It was honestly an incredibly cool experience with people connected to a tiny sliver of the military world that I have unspeakable respect for. I wish I could say more, but it's not really my story to tell.
Staying on that vibe, I shot an AWESOME interview with former Army Ranger Michael Burke on Saturday. It should be up next week. I can't wait for you all to see it. We dive DEEP into some topics I know you'll enjoy.
Other than that, I didn't do anything too crazy. Spent time at Dirty Water with the boys watching Duke get beat. Remember when I said storming the court was for clowns? Not so funny after a Duke player got hurt. Also, Dusty - our official mascot - decided this weekend was a great time to get sick.
