WATCH: Two Men On Spirit Airlines Flight Get In HEATED Fist Fight Plane Lands
Are airplane aisles designed to hold fist fights?
No.
But did that stop two men from engaging in an impromptu boxing match after a plane landed?
Also no.
On Tuesday, a Spirit Airlines flight from Myrtle Beach landed at Logan International Airport in Boston. As soon as the plane touched down, two men (who remained unnamed) started trying to fight each other.
A female flight attendant bravely stepped in between the combatants in an attempt to stop the fight. Unfortunately, her effort didn’t prevent the inevitable, and the two men let their fists fly. Thankfully, the attendant got out of the way just before the first punches landed.
As the fight escalated, the members of the flight crew told everyone to get off the plane as quickly as possible.
Nicole Grome, a passenger on the flight who was flying with parents, said the two men had been yelling at each other for most of the flight. She applauded the flight attendant for trying to break up the altercation.
"That poor flight attendant. She was doing her best," Grome said. "She’s putting herself in a dangerous situation to protect everyone else on the flight."
The craziest part of the whole thing? The two men involved in the fight walked through the airport afterward as if nothing had happened.
In the most unsurprising part of this story, the men are now on the airline's no-fly list.
"We do not tolerate disruptive behavior of any kind, and the passengers involved are no longer welcome on any of our flights," Spirit Airlines said in a statement.
Seems like a pretty fitting consequence for two guys who turned the plane into a boxing ring and nearly injured a woman.
