The Viral 'Hawk Tuah' Girl Has Been Identified

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last week or so, you've probably heard of the "Hawk Tuah" girl.  She gave an all-time answer to a question during an interview in Nashville and stole the hearts of many on the internet in the process.

Her viral response also sparked countless memes and has helped entertain the masses during what should be a slow week in June.  For those living under a rock, here's the clip from the interview with the internet show Tim & Dee TV that went viral.

In the clip, the "Hawk Tuah" girl, who has since been identified as Nashville's own Hailey Welch, is asked, "What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?  That you do."

Before the interviewer could even finish, Welch fired back with, "Oh, you’ve got to give him that hawk tuah and spit on that thang, you get me?"

Just like that, an internet star had arrived.  The memes were just the beginning of things to come.

The response was turned into a celebration by Bryce Harper, who pulled the move off after doubling against the Arizona Diamondbacks.  The "Hawk Tuah" has been slapped on hockey sweaters by fans and there's no end in sight.

Welch herself has gotten in on the action by cashing in on her viral fame.  She hooked up with the clothing brand Fathead Threads to start selling merchandise.

It's a smart move.  You've got to strike while the iron's hot.  She is pure entertainment, she brought much of the world together, and she deserves to make a few dollars off of the interview.
