Judge Denies ABC Bid To Dismiss Wrongful Termination Trial Over Covid Vaccination

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ruled that ABC must go to trial over wrongfully terminating two staffers from ‘General Hospital’ after their refusal to get the Covid vaccination.

James and Timothy Wahl sued ABC in 2021 after they were fired because of the network's vaccine mandate. The father and son claim that the vaccine went against their religious beliefs. ABC, however, terminated them anyway. The case will now head to trial in what could set a monumental precedent for future lawsuits in the post-pandemic era.

DID ABC VIOLATE PLAINTIFFS FREEDOM OF RELIGION?

Judge Stephen Goorvitch denied ABC's motion to dismiss the case, arguing that it must be heard in front of a jury to determine whether the network was in the right. ABC tried to claim that the Wahls were exaggerating their religious beliefs. The Judge also called BS on ABC alleging that the Wahls case should be dismissed because they were a safety concern to others by not being vaxxed. 

The trial is set to begin March 11.

REMEMBER LOCKDOWNS AND MANDATES?

Kudos to Judge Goorvitch for sticking it to the billion-dollar company and their expensive lawyers. 

It still makes me furious how over-the-top many were with COVID mandates, lockdowns and more. Literally, people's Constitutional rights of Freedom of Speech and Religion were tossed aside as if they were nothing. It's absolutely absurd that this was allowed to happen in America. Perhaps most frustrating is that many of the mandates weren't "based on science" as many claimed but rather were those that didn't want to lose their power and control. 

That's why it's important to never forget what innocent people and business owners had to go through, despite Dr. Fauci, school union President Randi Weingarten and the World Health Organization trying to revise history. 

We'll see what the jury comes up with as far as a verdict. If it rules in favor of the Wahls, then you can guarantee that this will be the start of many more lawsuits across the country from those that were fired over their refusal to get the vax - despite having the human and Constitutional right not to.
