True Romance: Man's Wife Falls For Mistress, Mom Caught With Daughter's Husband & Woman Becomes A Sugar Momma

Welcome to the first True Romance With SeanJo.  I have to admit, while not your traditional romantic, I've managed to keep my heart open and in doing so the love stories keep finding me.

Some might call this ability a gift, others would probably consider it a curse.  The truth is it's probably somewhere between both a gift and a curse.

When I told my wife that I had been asked to write a romance column, she falsely claimed that I wasn't romantic at all.  Some might take that as an insult.  I did not.

I rationally evaluated the situation and realized that I'm such a romantic that she doesn't even know she's being romanced.  It's easy to be over the top with romance.  Try pulling it off in stealth mode.

That's where the real skill and hard work come into play.  Obviously, this isn't the Lifetime special version of romance that she's been fooled into believing and neither will this weekly column.

I'm not going to do a deep dive into high school sweethearts who found love and are on their way to becoming grandparents.  That's far too boring.

Now, if a man falls for a stripper and the two of them live happily ever after, sign me up.  Or the classic case of the sugar baby who finds "Mr. Right" in one of her elderly sugar daddies.

That's what we're here for.  Hook that up to my veins and let that kind of romance fill my heart.  That's true romance and that's what I'm talking about.  People that against all odds find one another and fall in love.

This is an interactive experience (hopefully).  If you have a true romance story that's anything but cookie cutter or want to weigh in on anything that's covered week in and week out, I want to hear from you sean.joseph@outkick.com.

Let's get this rolling with a crazy story about a cheating man and his wife who ended up falling in love with the woman he was cheating on her with.

A man's wife fell in love with his mistress

Tyquan has been with Yasmin since 2012.  During the course of their relationship, Tyquan's had a hard time staying faithful.  His repeated infidelities led him to a relationship with Cieara.

When he was caught cheating with her, he couldn’t stop.  That's when Yasmin decided to invite her husband's mistress into their relationship to create an unusual formation of a throuple.

"When I found out, I was bothered by it, I asked him to stop," Yasmin said on the show Truly.  "And when he didn’t stop I felt like maybe it was something more serious, and I can look into it.  Because it's something that I had said that I was open to."

Yasmin then set up the first meeting with Tyquan's mistress.  They decided to give it a shot as a throuple, that was roughly 7 or 8 years ago.  Since then, Yasmin has fallen in love with Cieara too, and the two women made it clear that this isn't a sister wives situation at all.

This is a full-blown polyamorous throuple that live together under the same roof with eight kids.  Those being spoon-fed romance through movie of the weeks will never understand what's going on here.

They're tossing around accusations of low self-esteem and feel as if there's some lack of respect taking place.  That couldn't be further from the truth according to the throuple.

Do they have any obstacles to overcome?  Absolutely, but what relationship doesn't?  Can't a man love a woman and another woman and then those two women love each other in peace?

I don't think that's too much to ask.  The now happily married throuple has these parting words of wisdom to pass along, "you can miss out on a lot of things by not being open-minded."

Well said.  Approaching situations with an open mind is smart.  That said, I doubt there is a throuple in the making with this next story.

It's a tangled web where a woman was caught having an affair with her daughter's husband.  Talk about an odd way of finding love.

Mom caught having an affair with her daughter's husband

I can't decide if this is an "out with the old, in with the new" situation, or an "out with the new and in with the old."  It feels more like an out with the new, but I don't want to get lost in the semantics.

Let's take the lid off of this one and find out what's going on here.

A wife and mother of two shared how she caught her mom, who moved in recently because she was struggling to pay rent, and her husband of five years having an affair.

"My husband and I have full-time jobs, so it's nice to not have to pay for daycare and have an in-the-house nanny.  Now on to the problem," she said.

"Yesterday I had to work extra hours, so I decided to pick up dinner.  As I walked in, I heard my mom's voice float down from my bedroom.  I walked up and saw my mom sitting on top of my husband, unbuttoning her shirt."

The wronged daughter continued, "I dropped the food I was holding, alerting both of them I was there.  I screamed at her, telling her to get out.  She pleaded with me, saying she had nowhere to go.  I screamed at her again to get out, and she got up and ran."

Later, after she caught her mom and husband in the act, she texted her mom and told her she needed to return the following day and pick her stuff up.  Her husband tried to say that he hadn't done anything wrong.

Sadly, that wasn't the truth.  Mom came over the next day and spilled the beans.  Her husband and her mom had done a "variety of sexual things" together.  So says mom.

This prompted her to do a little digging, and she found messages between her husband and mom that seemed to corroborate what she was being told by her husband stealing mom.

That's when the wife sent her husband packing as well.  She told him that it was over and that she wanted a divorce.  Now, I know this sounds like anything, but a love story.  That might be true, until you find out this little nugget.

The scorned wife added, "I demanded him leave immediately and announced I was filing for divorce.  His face remained expressionless as I yelled at him.  He then grabbed my mom, and they drove off."

If that isn't a closing scene that reads that the mom and husband lived happily ever after, I don't know what is.  Talk about a love story.  Kids, grandma's now your stepmom!

A woman has found love as a sugar momma

Now, sometimes it takes losing someone close to you and the process of recovering from that loss to find love.  This is one such tragedy turned on its head.

A self-proclaimed sugar momma has found love following the death of her husband, Aaron, and says that he would "be proud of her."  36-year-old Kara Miller had split from her husband before his passing and started living a cougar lifestyle.

A lifestyle she says he supported.  This lifestyle turned into her becoming a full-on sugar momma and, thanks to a dating app, Kara found a 27-year-old named Daniel to shower with gifts.

This new path is one she says her late husband would be proud of.  Kara said, according to the Daily Star, "I feel he would be proud of me but also would tell me to ‘not listen to the haters,' like he always said."

Prior to things going south with Aaron, and then his untimely death, Kara explains that they fell in love at first sight.  While her relationship with Daniel is different, given that he's a sugar baby - and not her first - she's enjoying shelling out tons of cash on him.

"I have treated my sugar baby with a lot of clothes lately, and I am looking forward to paying him the most I’ve ever paid a sugar baby, which is close to $10,000," she admitted.  If that isn't love talking right there.

"Daniel is the youngest sugar baby I’ve been with, he is nine years younger than me.  I hang out with my sugar baby on Fridays to Sundays, and we get dinner.  Sometimes I buy him clothes.  Sunday morning I give him his weekly pay of $500-$1,000."

You could look at that and say that her younger lover is hanging around for the expensive gifts and the cash, but you're not going to convince me of that.

This is a "let's live, let's laugh, and let's love together" scenario if I've ever seen one.  It's honestly a story that warms the heart.  She's loved and lost and found a way to love again.

That's all I've got for this debut edition.  Let me know what you think.  Send me your stories and comments at sean.joseph@outkick.com, and we'll do it again next Thursday.
