Rap Star Arrested, Allegedly Drops Bold Line About Drinking

Travis Scott has found himself in some trouble with the law.

The rap star was taken into custody early Thursday morning and booked into Miami-Dade County Jail in Florida following an alleged altercation at the Miami Beach Marina, according to CNN.

Scott was arrested at 1:44 a.m. on charges of trespassing property after being given a warning and disorderly intoxication. Police were called following a report of a fight on a yacht, according to the arrest affidavit.

The "Sicko Mode" and "goosebumps" rapper was allegedly yelling and people and the police who responded to the scene could "sense a strong smell of alcohol" on the rapper.

Travis was told to leave, but allegedly returned minutes later after initially extricating himself from the situation, according to the same CNN report. That's when things went sideways for the popular singer.

Scott is accused of ignoring officers telling him to stay away from the yacht and then "began yelling once again, becoming erratic disturbing the peace."

At that point, the cuffs came out and he was arrested. CNN reports 10 officers with body cameras were present at the arrest, and the rapper bonded early Thursday morning.

Scott also allegedly admitted to drinking and explained that "It's Miami." If you're going to get arrested on an alcohol-related charge, you might as well drop a great line about it. That's going to be on a t-shirt by the end of the day.

This remains a developing situation. Check back to OutKick for any further details from the superstar's arrest that might become public, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
