Swift attending Super Bowl LVIII was a major storyline going into the game. Attention on her was off the charts, which has been a divisive situation for the league and fans.

Some fans love the fact Taylor Swift is now a focal point for the league. Others…….do not! Prior to the game, I made it clear I was pulling for the 49ers in an attempt to put an end to the Kansas City circus.

However, Patrick Mahomes was simply too much, and pulled off some overtime heroics to earn his third Super Bowl ring.

Say whatever you want about Taylor Swift dating Travis Kelce - that's your right as an American - but there's no question she moved the needle during the Super Bowl.

Her travel plans from Japan were under a spotlight, her arrival at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas was covered like she was the President and she was regularly shown throughout the Super Bowl LVIII broadcast.

As much as people wanted to cheer against Kelce, Mahomes, Swift and the Chiefs, Kansas City went out and earned the right to raise the Lombardi Trophy.

Then the biggest star in the country rushed down to the field to see her boyfriend. It was a touching moment, and you're just kidding yourself if you think differently.

Now, what is this offseason going to look like after Swift's boyfriend earned another ring? The content grind never stops when you're a worldwide superstar, and her connections to the NFL are now rocksolid. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
