TimTheTatman Moves To Youtube Gaming

Twitch streamer TimTheTatman and his 7 million followers are making the move over to YouTube Gaming. This move is a bit startling, considering popular streamer Dr. Lupo also skipped town for YouTube Gaming this past weekend.

No details on paydays have been released to show just how much cash YouTube forked over to pry these two away, but those numbers always leak. Rumors surfaced last year that Ninja had $100 million on the table to leave Twitch for Mixer, so will TimTheTatman's deal look similar? It's hard to accept the fact that gamers on camera can sign for this type of money, however it's a reality many have to come to grips with.

I personally watch TimTheTatman all the time. He's wildly entertaining, and ultimately, that's all that matters. And while famous streamers are often so good at video games that their personalities have no choice but to suck, Tim is the opposite: He's first and foremost an entertainer who focuses on gameplay. And he's actually become quite good, if you ask me.

YouTube Gaming has added subscriber-only chats, more optimized streams, and overall a well-rounded selection of gamers after today. This move will also help other Twitch streamers realize YouTube is probably the place to be. Most of these streamers use Twitch and then pull clips to upload and monetize even further with YouTube. Now, TimTheTatman will be able to stream and upload for further monetization simultaneously.

YouTube Gaming is about to be the Amazon of the entertainment industry.
