TikToker Claims He Caught A Time Traveler Coming Out Of His Shed
A man on TikTok claims he caught a time traveler red-handed in the backyard of his Florida Airbnb.
Alec Schaal posted a series of security videos this week that show a young man sneaking into his backyard shed. A day later, the same man (allegedly) leaves the shed looking a few decades older.
Obviously, people were skeptical. It would be pretty easy to stage something like this to go viral.
So, in an attempt to prove this whole thing wasn't a publicity stunt for his Airbnb, Schaal posted security footage of police officers responding to a call about the young guy who initially entered the shed — before he emerged as a grandpa, that is.
So let's suspend disbelief for a second. Let's pretend there is a portal to the past or to the future. And let's pretend this portal just so happens to be in this random Florida man's old shed. We still need to discuss some logistics.
So TMZ called in an expert: Bob Gale. Gale wrote the scripts for the Back to the Future trilogy. And he's calling shenanigans on the aging time traveler. After all, Marty McFly did not age when he traveled from 1985 to 2015 in Back to the Future Part II. No one did!
"I think someone is unclear on the concept!" Gale said. "As I see it, the guy either has an aging machine (maybe he spent a few hours watching the news), or a makeup kit to give him those looks, or it's his father!"
Eh. Look, I'm not saying I believe Schaal. But who's to say this guy didn't go to another time period, spend 30 years or so and then travel back to the same spot in 2024 afterward?
There's only one way to solve this puzzle: We need a camera in the shed.
