Meet The Sisters Becoming Major Country Music Stars

It appears country music might have found itself next superstar act:

The Castellows.

I found myself scrolling through X the other day - as I often do - when I stumbled upon the clip below from their song "No. 7 Road" with people opining it represents an era that seems to be rapidly disappearing.

There was nothing fancy or glitzy about it. It's just old school folk/country music about family history. That's about as country as it gets.

The Castellows are generating massive attention.

Naturally, I had to find out more about Ellie, Powell and Lily. It didn't take long to realize the Georgia natives are climbing the mountain of country music and are in the process of blowing up.

The trip has a total of seven songs on Spotify and averages more than 500,000 million streams a month. The most insane numbers you'll ever see?

Not at all, but definitely a sign that the group has gained traction.

While the group averages north of 500,000 streams a month on Spotify, the group is putting up MAJOR numbers on Instagram with its 1.4 million followers.

The musical act regularly draws more than a million viewers on videos, including 13.7 million views on the video below. Now those are big boy numbers.

People are craving great music that isn't mainstream or the pop nonsense that seems to be infecting country music these days.

People are desperate for an old school vibe. It's why Zach Bryan has become so incredibly popular. Are The Castellows the next Zach Bryan?

That would be an insane thing for anyone to say, but it's clear they have rising popularity with their bluegrass/folk/traditional style.

I don't often like to beat my own chest, but I have a pretty solid track record when it comes to nailing music acts and their success. The Castellows might not be for everyone, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out these are trending up in a monster way. Numbers never lie.

Did I mention they're also hunters and fans of spending time outdoors? Case closed. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
