Austin Butler's New Biker Gang Movie Looks Outstanding: TRAILER
"The Bikeriders" with Austin Butler looks like it might be a must-watch film.
The plot of the movie with Butler and Tom Hardy is described as follows:
"Synopsis: Inspired by Danny Lyon’s iconic book of photography, "The Bikeriders" immerses you in the look, feel, and sounds of the bare-knuckled, grease-covered subculture of ’60s motorcycle riders. Kathy (Comer), a strong-willed member of the Vandals who’s married to a wild, reckless bikerider named Benny (Butler), recounts the Vandals’ evolution over the course of a decade, beginning as a local club of outsiders united by good times, rumbling bikes, and respect for their strong, steady leader Johnny (Hardy). Over the years, Kathy tries her best to navigate her husband’s untamed nature and his allegiance to Johnny, with whom she feels she must compete for Benny’s attention. As life in the Vandals gets more dangerous, and the club threatens to become a more sinister gang, Kathy, Benny and Johnny are forced to make choices about their loyalty to the club and to each other."
Does that sound interesting to you? It sure does to me, and I can guarantee you the latest trailer will only spike your interest even more.

New trailer released for "The Bikeriders" with Austin Butler.
This movie looks really awesome, and Butler appears to be keeping his momentum high. Over the past few years, he starred in "Elvis," "Dune: Part Two," "Masters of the Air" and has become one of the most recognizable men on the planet. He's on a rocketship to the top of Hollywood.
Now, he's teamed up with Tom Hardy for a film about a biker gang. I definitely think I'm sold.
There's something about biker gang stories that simply appeal to Americans. Maybe it's the fact it represents a bygone era. Maybe it's the outlaw element. Perhaps it's a combination of the two.
All I know for sure is biker gang stories always hit the spot. Look at how popular "Sons of Anarchy" was back in the day. The show became utterly ridiculous but people still loved it.
"The Bikeriders" appears to have a similar spirit, but will also be much darker.
You can catch "The Bikeriders" starting June 21st, and I'll definitely be watching. In fact, it's one of the films I'm most excited for this summer. Hit me with your thoughts and reactions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
