Taylor Swift Reportedly Generates Huge Money For The NFL

NFL fans might not love Taylor Swift, but the league almost certainly loves the money she's reportedly responsible for printing.

The Super Bowl discourse is dominated by the fact T-Swift is dating Chiefs TE Travis Kelce. You can't turn on the TV and not see someone talking about it.

We have Colin Cowherd claiming guys who don't like it just don't have sex. Erin Andrews is alleging people are forcing people to hate Swift (false) and others are expressing frustration with the fact a pop star - not the game - is the center of attention.

We can debate all day long about how much Swift coverage is too much, but it appears the NFL is laughing all the way to the bank.

Data from Apex Marketing indicates Taylor Swift has been worth a staggering $331.5 million for the league since her relationship with Kelce started, according to Front Office Sports (via the New York Post).

The data includes print, digital, radio, television, highlights and social media monitoring of Swift. It turns out Swift's impact on the NFL is a great example of there being no such thing as bad attention when it comes to the public eye.

Let's also not forget that the NFL leaned into Swift's presence at Chiefs games earlier in the season. The league gave her a shout out in its X description, and regularly promotes her on social media.

This is the United States of America. This country is built on capitalism. The almighty dollar gets a vote, and it's a big one.

I'm not saying that as a negative. You'll not meet someone who loves capitalism more than I do. I'm simply explaining why the NFL and Swift make sense as a combo.

The NFL without a doubt loves the attention, new fans and all the free attention her newfound fandom of Kelce and the Chiefs has brought the league.
