Taylor Swift's dad Scott reportedly is the target of a police investigation in Australia.
Scott Swift is being investigated after being accused of assaulting a photographer in Australia early Tuesday morning, according to Fox News.
New South Wales police department confirmed to Page Six that an investigation is underway, and the alleged victim is named Ben McDonald, according to the same report. The alleged assault occurred at a ferry wharf in Sydney.
Swift's people are claiming her dad is absolutely in the right, and have released their version of events. A spokesperson for the most famous singer on the planet told Fox News Digital, "Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water."
Taylor Swift's dad Scott reportedly under police investigation.
However, McDonald isn't pleased with the statement from Swift's people, and is maintaining he did nothing wrong. The photographer told the Daily Mail the entire situation was caught on camera and shows he wasn't aggressive.
"She got off the boat, she walked towards security guards who were shoving umbrellas in our faces," McDonald told the outlet.
He further told told the Sunday Morning Herald (via the New York Post), "She got off a super-yacht at Neutral Bay and walked up the wharf with an umbrella over her head and a couple of security [guards] around her. Security sort of pushed us around with the umbrellas. Then her dad decided to add to the mix and throw a punch in."
He also claims he didn't suffer any serious injuries during the alleged altercation but has "very sore chops." Now, it's up to the police to figure out what occurred.
