Review: Taco Bell's New Chicken Nuggets Are Shockingly Delicious

Taco Bell fans are very confused about the fast food chain's decision to suddenly start selling chicken nuggets of all things.

This past Thursday, America's go-to for all things Mexican food announced that it would be releasing chicken nuggets for a limited time. The chicken bits are breaded with tortilla chips and can be dipped in three different sauces of one's choosing: Hidden Valley fire ranch sauce, Bell sauce, or jalapeño honey mustard.

Last night I tried them to let you know if they were worth it or not. The answer? A shocking "YES," that will have you saying "Yo Quiero Taco Bell nuggets."

THE NUGGETS ARE A BIT PRICEY BUT WORTH THE TRY

"In a world where chicken nugget loyalty runs deep, Taco Bell is daring to push the boundaries of innovation yet again with the introduction of Crispy Chicken Nuggets," the chain announced in a press release earlier this week. And somehow, they delivered in spectacular fashion.

At first glance, the nuggets don't look remotely appetizing or appealing, as I suddenly asked myself "WTF" I was doing ordering nuggets from Taco Bell and not Wendy's.

But after throwing down an extra $2 to make sure I was able to sample all THREE sauces, I immediately didn't even know I was at The Bell anymore. In fact, someone would have to save me from the bell, based on how I wanted more, even after I devoured them.

THE SAUCES MAKE IT

The Bell sauce is your perfect condiment for anyone and everyone. It's essentially a BBQ sauce with a bit of a kick to it. The jalapeño honey mustard was decent, but I'm not a huge honey mustard fan on my nuggets, so I wasn't too impressed. But the real kicker was the fire ranch sauce - this thing is the ULTIMATE win.

It's the best kick of spiciness that one would expect at a Mexican spot like Taco Bell, but also the right amount of ranch dressing to give it a cool down as well.

It appears I'm not alone, as many on social media agreed that Taco Bell delivered once again.

Although the nuggets are a bit pricey - ranging from $3.99 and more for five small pieces, they are definitely worth trying.

Would I go out of my way to continue ordering them? That's a tough question, considering everything else on the menu is delicious! Have you tried their Nacho Fries? I mean, come on now, people!

My group text message chats are already talking about wanting to try the chicken nuggets, so I'll be eating more regardless, but I may shift my eating game plan.

I'm going to order the chicken nuggets, while also getting all three sauces, and then make sure to dip a couple tacos and a quesadilla in it as well.

Why? Because there are no rules when it comes to eating Taco Bell!
