Sylvester Stallone Is Bada** In New Preview For Mob Series
The first look at "Tulsa King" season two has arrived.
The Paramount+ series starring Sylvester Stallone as mafia enforcer Dwight Manfredi was a big hit when it premiered in 2022.
The plot revolves around Manfredi being exiled by his organized crime group to Tulsa after getting out of prison. In short order, Manfredi has built himself a little organization of his own, and he's playing by his own rules - not by the family's.
It was a non-woke series that was a ton of fun. Stallone and Taylor Sheridan continued to prove that shows that focus on entertaining fans above all else is a successful formula.
"Tulsa King" season two teaser released.
Well, I wouldn't expect anything to drop off in season two. The teaser released Wednesday shows Stallone is still as badass as ever.
Give it a watch below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
Looks pretty solid and entertaining, right? If you haven't already watched season one, you can find the whole thing on Paramount+.
Taylor Sheridan is responsible for creating it, and we all know what that means. The story is awesome, but there is a key difference with "Tulsa King." Much of Sheridan's work features little optimism.
The Stallone-led series is actually pretty funny, but don't be fooled. There's still plenty of action. The cast is also very impressive with Garrett Hedlund, Andrea Savage and Martin Starr all having prominent roles. Starr is great as Bodhi - a weed store owner who falls in with Manfredi.
You can catch season two starting September 15th on Paramount+, and I can guarantee you that I'll be watching. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
