She managed to move the needle in a way that virtually never happens when it comes to "SNL."

The clips are generating absurd numbers, people can't stop talking about the episode, and she's been trending since the episode dropped Saturday.

We might never truly know why people are so fascinated by her performance. It's something historians might debate for years, but I think we can all agree "SNL" appears to have found a winning strategy.
