Stephen A Smith Says He Has COVID

Stephen A. Smith has tested positive for COVID-19, the ESPN analyst announced Tuesday on "First Take." The 54-year-old outspoken vaccine enthusiast joined the show virtually to share his positive test was the reason he missed Monday's show.

Smith says he received two Pfizer vaccine shots, however he had not yet received his booster. He's reportedly dealing with "minor" symptoms, which is great news, but now that we got that update out the way -- What happened, Stephen A? Could've sworn the vaccine was the only way America could return to normalcy? Here we stand with a perfectly healthy show host being sent home with a positive test after experiencing minor symptoms while vaccinated.

Turns out, we've set a precedent that anyone who tests positive for the virus going forward is a danger to society and needs to be treated like they have Tuberculosis. Well, Mr. Smith, those of us that didn't get vaccinated are also, for the most part, experiencing light symptoms provided we aren't morbidly obese.

And here's the most hysterical part

Stephen A. Smith hopped on national television and suggested the uptick in NFL cases was due to the usage of fake vaccine cards WHILE HE WAS POSITIVE WITH THE VIRUS. A mind bogglingly clueless take that's designed to be coddled by the pro-Fauci crowd.

Smith says he'll return by New Years and one would think he'd acknowledge the vaccine doesn't stop the virus considering his status. If he wants to die on "the vaccine diminishes case severity" hill, then perhaps he'll figure out that our personal battles with the virus are our own business and no one else's. We control our own destiny.

Regardless of his poorly orchestrated stance on an unvaccinated Kyrie Irving over the past few months, we still wish him the best of health. We just hope someone will ask him about the delay on the booster that would've done absolutely nothing.
