'Star Wars' TV Series' Pronouns Scene Is Unbelievably Cringe: WATCH

"The Acolyte" went full cringe with its pronoun scene.

The narrative surrounding Disney's latest "Star Wars" series has been an absolute disaster, and it currently holds a 14% approval rating from fans on Rotten Tomatoes

Prior to its premiere, creator Leslye Headland and lead actress Amandla Stenberg rejoiced in the show being declared super gay.

"The Acolyte" features dumb pronouns scene.

Backlash only intensified after word broke that the show would address pronouns. Exactly what Star Wars fans tune in for. What's a great space adventure without some pronouns?

Well, the scene is out…..and it's brutally cringe. It features a female (am I allowed to say that?) character calling a furry little animal character "he" before correcting herself by declaring it a "they."

I couldn't make this up if I tried. Check out the comically dumb moment from "The Acolyte" below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

To show just how stupid this scene is, below is the creature the writers felt needed to have fluid/ambiguous pronouns. The thing looks like a woodchuck who got into a bag of Colombia's finest cocaine.

Is Disney's goal to have as many people as possible wince and cringe at its content while openly mocking and hating it?

If so, mission accomplished. "Star Wars" went from being a bunch of badass heroes fighting an evil galactic empire to *checks notes real quick* being about pronouns when referencing furry aliens/animals.

I grew up a huge "Star Wars" fan. I couldn't get enough of the original trilogy. One of the first gifts I ever remember getting as a kid was the VHS box set that came in the black box.

Now, you can't pay me to watch this trash. I might send Disney a bill for having to endure the few seconds above.

What goes woke, will ultimately go broke. It's a simple but serious philosophy, and Disney seems hellbent on making sure it happens with "Star Wars." There's simply no excuse for this kind of stupidity. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
