Sony Pictures Launches 'Spider-Man; No Way Home' Teaser Trailer

It was just a few days back that Sony Pictures went into full blown crisis mode when, somehow, the trailer of the upcoming Spider-Man flick Spider-Man: No Way Home dropped online.

If you missed the camera trailer, you’re going to have a hard time finding it. Sony was very proactive and pulled the trailer so fans wouldn’t have access to it.

A number of the links to the supposed trailer were removed and those that posted the trailer were hit with a copyright statement.

“The media has been disabled in response to a report from the copyright owner,” the message read.

There were rumors that the ‘official’ trailer by Sony would drop no later than this Friday - but Sony evidently decided dropping it Monday was enough time after the camera trailer had fans everywhere talking.

Fans on social media went crazy over the alleged leak, and its contents appeared to be 100 percent legit for fans who did have the chance to see it, which wasn’t much, to be honest.

The Spider-Man movies have been incredibly popular with fans, with the last movie, Spider-Man, Far From Home, bringing in over 1 billion worldwide.

The other solo Spider-Man movie which came out in July of 2017 entitled Spider-Man, Homecoming also did great numbers at the box office, bringing in close to $900,000 million ($880,166,924 worldwide).

Both movies were also well received by fans and movie reviewers across the country.

Spider-Man, Homecoming received an impressive 92 percent according to reviews on the popular movie site, Rotten Tomatoes.

The second solo Spider-Man flick, Spider-Man, Far From Home pulled in a 90 percent with movie reviewers from Rotten Tomatoes.

The new Spider-Man movie is set for a release just prior to Christmas on December 17th, 2021.
