Singer Meghan Trainor & Her Husband Have Side By Side Toilets, But There's One Big Problem

Would you be comfortable taking a dump next to your husband or wife? It turns out 27-year-old singer Meghan Trainor and her husband, Daryl Sabara, are so comfortable around each other that they made the massive leap into the world of couples dumps. The wildcat singer of "All About That Bass" announced on the "Why Won't You Date Me?" podcast hosted by Nicole Byer that she had dual toilets installed in their new house.

Trainor dropped the nugget that she and Sabara like to be so close to each other that side-by-side toilets made complete sense to the couple.

"We just got a new house and we did construction — nobody knows this — but in our bathroom, there was one toilet," Trainor said on the podcast. "A lot of times in the middle of the night when we're with the baby, we gotta pee at the same time. So I was like, 'Can we please have two toilets next to each other?'"

That's right, the toilets sit next to each other.

Of course, you have questions just like I have questions.

Trainor notes that the couple uses them together "often," but she notes that they've only dropped deuces together twice because it "smells foul."

Now, before you think this woman has lost her damn mind and these two deserve some sort of warrior badges for taking dumps next to each other, it turns out that the dual-toilet thing is actually a hot, new trend in homebuilding where people want two pots in the master suite.

“The main benefit of double toilets would be that you and your partner can ‘do your business’ at the same time without having to leave the master suite,” Drew Henry, founder of Design Dudes, told Realtor.com.

And people are so loaded these days, they can customize their own toilets in the master suite. He gets to chose his preferable style of bowl while the wife does the same. If you haven't been paying attention to the toilet market, there are now options on these things like 2021 cars.

Doris Pearlman, president and founder of Possibilities, an interior design firm in Denver says this is just a sign of the times. “I understand the rationale behind it since toileting is highly personal, and with the advent of ‘supertoilets’ that include heated seats, night lights, and even Bluetooth syncing, you can have a variety of options tailored to individual preferences,” Pearlman noted in the Realtor report.

Let's get down to business here. How does this even work where Trainor and her husband are taking craps at the same time? You have to assume these two built a house with multiple places to drop off the kids at the pool.

Does she barge in on him while he's scrolling Instagram and insist on blasting out Taco Bell right next to him? Is he afraid to tell her to get out? Is she a complete freak who insists on Daryl blasting out Mexican and Bud Light draft filth? A smart podcaster would have drilled down on this subject.

And while we're at it, let's hear from Big D on this subject. I'm talking a podcast where he's free to tell us he's completely disgusted by this lifestyle, but he has to go along with it to keep Meghan happy. It feels like Daryl is being muzzled here.

Blink if you're being held hostage, Daryl.

Not Meghan's house. Just an example:
