SI Swimsuit Model Christen Harper Brings The Heat On Honeymoon After Tying The Knot With Jared Goff
Listen up, people. Spend the money on the honeymoon, not the wedding.
These words of wisdom appear to have been taken to heart by Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and his bride, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Christen Harper.
They could have done both and had an over-the-top model and NFL player-filled ceremony. But they didn't do that. They chose instead, to go the low-key wedding route followed by a honeymoon abroad.
It's smart, and it makes the wedding and the honeymoon more memorable. Putting a wedding together with a ton of people for social media clout takes away from the experience.
Save the social media content for the honeymoon. That's when you get to show off the hard work leading up to the big day. That's exactly what Mrs. Goff did.
She didn't pack all the different bikinis for them not to wind up on the gram. She intended to bring the heat while on the honeymoon and has delivered.
Christen Harper And Jared Goff Are Having A Solid Off-Season
What a run by Jared Goff. He's gone from castaway to franchise quarterback. He led the Lions to their first playoff game win in forever and an NFC Championship game appearance and was rewarded with $170 million guaranteed.
How can you not root for this guy? After doing all of that, he spent the rest of the off-season following Christen around from one SI Swimsuit event to another before tying the knot.
If this isn't all leading up to the franchise quarterback taking the Lions another step forward next season, I don't know what else to make of it. He earned the trust of a franchise, made big money, and put a ring on his model girlfriend's finger.
The most impressive part might be the decision-making he used as he navigated his way through the entire process. He makes the right reads on and off the field. A pro's pro.
I don't know if this means a Lions Super Bowl appearance or not, but they're a certified contender now and this entire off-season by Goff has helped to cement that.
