Shocking Video Of Aroldis Chapman Groping Much Older Woman Raises Questions
Aroldis Chapman is here to get everyone through the dog days of late-winter/early spring before March Madness and MLB opening day.
Unfortunately, it's not because he's firing piss missiles from the mound up in Pittsburgh. Nope.
Instead, the Pirates' pitcher spent all morning Wednesday trending on social media because he posted a video to his Instagram story of him feeling up an unknown woman who appeared to be well into her 70s.
That's not hyperbole. That ain't exaggeration. That is exactly what happened.
Take a look for yourself, if you wish:
Aroldis Chapman video goes viral
Whoaaaaa Nellie. What a video. I'll admit, not a lot in this world shocks me anymore. You see so many things on the internet nowadays when your job is to blog about viral things that you just sort of become numb to it.
But this little clip of Aroldis Chapman groping an elderly woman made the 'ol jaw hit the floor on an otherwise slow Wednesday morning.
Now, the video was posted to Chapman's official IG account. No disputing that. It was there.
Of course, after it started going viral for obvious reasons, the 36-year-old reliever took it down. At this point in time, that seems like wasted effort because the internet lives forever and when it comes to this, it's undefeated.
So, of course, it's still out there – everywhere.
As for the identity of the woman, nobody knows for sure. Several online sleuths seem to think it's his mother, but that's not been confirmed as of late Wednesday morning.
A separate video – also since taken down – shows the woman and an older man cooking in a kitchen together.
If that is Chapman's mom … I'm gonna be honest, I don't know that it helps the situation. Doesn't really make it any better, does it?
Actually, probably makes it worse. That's just one man's opinion, though. You never know in today's culture.
Anyway, we also can't blog about Aroldis Chapman squeezing an older lady's boobs without also mentioning his past – which ain't great.
For those who don't remember, the ex-Yankee/Cub/Red/Ranger was suspended for 30 games in 2016 for violating MLB's domestic violence policy after he reportedly choked his girlfriend and fired a gun eight times. Not great.
Most recently, the Cuban-born pitcher signed a one-year, $10.5 million contract with Pittsburgh in January after pitching for the Royals and Rangers last year.
