Sharon Stone Recreates Iconic 'Basic Instinct' Scene In Red Lingerie
The last time Sharon Stone fired up Instagram with some "I'm 60-something years old, but I'm a 60-something Sharon Stone" content, you know who was there? That's right, the OutKick Culture Department.
It was May of last year. The sun was shining and a then 65-year-old Sharon Stone decided she was ready for summer. She wanted some of the love the internet has been sprinkling on the 50-somethings who have kept themselves bikini ready.
You know, the Salma Hayeks and Elizabeth Hurleys of the world and that's exactly what she got. Her hard work had paid off, and she was "hashtag summer goals" during bikini season. Again, that was May of last year.
This year Sharon, now 66, decided to take a different approach. She jumped into a whole new ballpark and swung for a completely different fence. She wasn't simply going for the applause this time around.
The actress wanted to combine a bit of nostalgia with her reminder that she looks nothing like your grandma did in her mid-60s. Not only can she still pull out the lingerie from time to time, but she can still pull off a reference to her iconic Basic Instinct scene when she wants as well.
For anyone not making the connection to the 1992 erotic thriller on their own, Sharon spelled it out in the caption, "BASICALLY ….YOURS 🥰."
It Was Time For A Basic Instinct Reference From Sharon Stone
Well done Sharon. We were well overdue for a reference to that legendary scene.
Not to mention a reminder that you're not simply sitting in a recliner, a purse full of Werther's Originals, watching Law & Order reruns. No, you're keeping yourself busy.
That's clear by the fact that she's pulling off the lingerie look, and she still appears to have full use of her hips. That can't be said for all that age, especially not the Law & Order rerun crowd.
This is the Sharon Stone we all love.
Not the version who weighs in on politics like a crazy relative and still wants people to vote for Joe Biden even after watching his sad attempt at a debate.
Let's agree to disagree on whether Biden is a viable candidate who can serve four more years in office and come to a compromise on more of this type of content from the former A-lister.
