Shane Gillis' New Comedy Show Looks Hilarious: PREVIEW

Shane Gillis' upcoming Netflix series "Tires" looks like a certified hit.

Gillis has skyrocketed to fame in the comedy world ever since he breezed through the woke mob trying to cancel him. He was briefly hired by "Saturday Night Live" before being immediately fired after people who hate to laugh were offended by old jokes. His firing was embarrassing for comedy, and a sad sign of the times.

Instead of collapsing under the pressure, Gillis actually leaned into comedy even more, is now among the most famous comics in the world and even ended up hosting "SNL."

His next major project is "Tires" on the streaming giant.

Netflix releases preview for new Shane Gillis show.

The plot of the upcoming series is described as, "Will (Steven Gerben), the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain, attempts to turn his father’s business around despite constant torture from his cousin and now employee, Shane (Shane Gillis)."

Shane Gillis playing a guy who tortures and bullies his cousin should be enough to get you interested. If it's not, I can promise you the trailer will get your excitement going.

Fire it up below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

There's no way this series isn't absolutely incredible, right? It's got the perfect vibe of raunchy comedy, situational humor and a feel-good comeback story.

I think it's safe to say humor is officially trending up. Gone are the days of studios and writers fearing what the woke mob might do. Whether it's the Tom Brady roast, Tim Dillon saying unbelievably offensive things on his podcast, Danny McBride doing what he does best on TV or Shane Gillis' ascension, one thing is becoming crystal clear:

If you're funny, then people will follow what you do.

Gillis has been an unstoppable force the past couple years, and it looks like he's only going up from here. I can't wait to check out "Tires" when it premieres May 23. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
