Woman Who Spent $50k On Barbie Look On Mission For Natural Look After Ending Up Looking More Like An Alien

A California woman who dropped $50,000 over the last few years on plastic surgery is ready to turn back her real-life Barbie look.  It's time to leave the filler behind for a more natural apperance.

Serena Smith got her start with cosmetic procedures at the age of 18 when she dropped $7,500 on a boob job.  She went from an A-cup to a D-cup, and it was on from there.

The now-24-year-old has had a nose job, a Brazilian butt lift, and Botox and fillers on her entire face - everything from her lips to her cheeks and forehead.

But as with all things, Serena's love of plastic surgery has run its course.  The time has come for the singer to lean into a more natural look after her multiple procedures left her looking like an "alien."

The transformation is already underway.  There will be no more Marilyn Monroe-inspired looks.  For now anyway.  She's already dissolved a bunch of the filler as she makes an attempt to look more natural.

"I am trying to embrace natural beauty a little bit," Serena said.  "I loved my appearance but over time I have realized it wasn't working for me."

Serena Smith Isn't Ready To Give Up Entirely On Plastic Surgery

Serena is older and wiser since she started down the plastic surgery path.  She's learned after changing up her looks every couple of years, and blowing through $50k, to accept her beauty more.

"You feel comfortable with different things at different ages.  Lately, I have been showing a lot less skin," Serena explained.

"It was an unconscious decision - I realized I have been dressing more conservatively and that is reflected in my life as a whole.  I feel a bit more like myself."

While she is embracing a more natural look, Serena hasn't completely lost her mind and turned her back on plastic surgery.  There will be more procedures in her future.

In fact, she already has plans to go bigger with her boobs.  She admitted, "I am planning to have my breasts redone.  They are going to be bigger.  They need a refresh to keep them looking good."

Trying to go with a more natural look in order to avoid looking like an alien is one thing.  Giving up entirely on going under the knife is a completely different animal.

Serena has certain aspects of her appearance that she can't just abandon.  Like she said, the boobs are going to need a refresh from time to time.  That's going to require professional maintenance, if you will.
