San Jose State Swimmer Andreea Dragoi Ready To Hit The Miami Swim Week Runway

It's that time of year again.  The runways for the various Swim Weeks that take place annually are starting to fill up with models doing their best to add some noteworthy credits to their modeling resumes.

San Jose State swimmer Andreea Dragoi, also known as the Olivia Dunne of the Pool, is one of the many models hoping for a spot on a runway or two this season.  She's letting it be known too.

After a dominant summer last summer, which saw her turn heads during New York Swim Week in August, she wants to make an appearance on a Miami Swim Week runway later this month.

The Romanian pageant winner has already turned her Swim Week performance into a couple of Fashion Week appearances and is ready for whatever Miami has in store for her.  She publicly reached out to the powers that be on Instagram alongside some of her work from New York.

Andreea said, "@meganmaemiami @meganmaestevens 🤍🪽 would love to walk for you this season at @miamiswimweekshows."

San Jose State Swimmer Andreea Dragoi Is Ready To Take Her Modeling To The Next Level

On paper, a swimmer out of the Mountain West reaching out for a spot on the runway during Miami Swim Week on social media sounds absurd.  But this isn't just any swimmer.

Andreea has been on a Swim Week runway before.  She's used the power of social media to her full advantage.  She puts up numbers, has blue checkmarks in the comments, and a talent agency representing her.

She's pouring a solid foundation for life after her swimming days are behind her.  Landing a spot on a Miami Swim Week runway would just be the latest in a long line of accomplishments.

If she doesn't end up getting the call, it's not the end of the world.  However, if she does end up in Miami later this month, then she might be gearing up for an even bigger summer than she had last year.

Good luck slowing her down if that happens.  It's a situation we'll be keeping our eye on.
