Robert De Niro Might Suffer From A Worse Case Of Trump Derangement Syndrome Than Howard Stern

Howard Stern spent the past week in the news following his bootlicking interview with Joe Biden. Stern suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). Few celebrities suffer from the condition worse than Stern.

Actor Robert De Niro might be one of the exceptions.

De Niro has always been a liberal dude. He doesn't venture to rock the boat very often.  He enjoys hobnobbing with fellow Hollywood and social elites.

But Trump's entry into politics and eventually the White House turned De Niro increasingly indignant and Olbermann-like.

Case in point: his appearance Thursday on MSNBC.

De Niro appeared on "The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle," whatever that is, where he said he's sick of Trump "name-calling" people with whom he disagrees. He then name-called Trump:

"He's a sick person. He's a monster."

And Hitler.

Robert De Niro warned that electing Trump would turn America into a nation resembling Nazi Germany – if not worse.

Listen for yourself:

"What do you say to those who say, ‘I don’t like the guy, but I’m going to vote for him’? What’s your message to that?" asked Ruhle,

"I don’t think they understand how dangerous it will be if he ever, God forbid, [Trump] becomes president. I don’t think they really understand. And historically, from what I see, even in Nazi Germany, they had it with Hitler. They don’t take him seriously. 'He looks like a clown. Acts like a clown.'

"Mussolini. Same thing. These guys, I don’t know why they look like clowns. They somehow people… That element of society identifies in some ways with them. But it would be chaos beyond our imagination. There’s no mystery about him. He’s right out front. And what he says is what it’ll be if he becomes president," answered De Niro.

Hitler! Nazis! Mussolini!

De Niro recently promised if he sees Trump he is going to "punch him in the face."

Luckily, for Trump, De Niro is not Alec Baldwin. Or else he'd have to take his threat seriously.

Still, Trump has De Niro fully on tilt:

Howard Stern would be proud.

All that said, we'd like to congratulate Robert De Niro — on two occasions. He recently celebrated his 80th birthday and welcomed a new baby daughter with his 45-year-old girlfriend.

Here's to hoping the little De Niro girl doesn't grow up in Nazi America.
