Rich Housewife Upset That Her Husband Didn't Buy Her A Mansion As A Push Present After She Gave Birth
Linda Andrade, aka the "Dubai Housewife," claims that an inadequate push present can lead to postpartum depression. The rich housewife took to TikTok, where she has 1.1 million followers, to complain and reveal that she didn't get what she asked for in a push present.
Now, she did receive several gifts from her multimillionaire husband after giving birth. He has a soul, but the fact that a mansion wasn't among them isn't sitting well with her. In between repeated warnings about having a child with "broke men," Linda detailed her struggle.
"Postpartum depression is so real because what if you get the wrong push present?," she asks in the video. "You already had the baby, and then your hormones are just crazy, especially if you had a baby with a broke man."
Lucky for Linda, she doesn't have to worry about that. The man she married met her financial requirements prior to getting married and has continued to shower her with extravagant gifts.
Despite this, she announced in the video that, "My postpartum's been okay" and that she's a little annoyed. Her husband bought her a bag, a diamond Cartier, a new car and even a condo.
Sounds like an adequate haul for giving birth, but you're missing the point here. She didn't ask for any of that, she asked for a mansion. She said after admitting that she was annoyed with the gifts she received, "I asked for a mansion, he got me a condo in like the best neighborhood. But I'm like, hello, it's a condo."
The Rich Housewife Life Isn't As Easy As It Looks, Sometimes You Have To Settle For A Condo
It sounds entitled and disgusting, but she's absolutely right. You can't give a woman who has just given birth a lousy condo when she's expecting a mansion.
If you do, and she has a large following on social media, you had better believe she's going to throw you under the bus. It doesn't matter how well things went throughout the pregnancy, which Linda admits went well. She said of her experience, "We were going out, having fun, shopping, eating the best food, flying all over the world."
The disappointment with finding herself mansion-less after giving birth, while a moment she feels she needed to call her husband out for, doesn't change that she would prefer a wealthy husband over those with less. In fact, she considers it getting in the way of natural selection by having a baby with a broke man, something she ensures that her daughter won't be doing.
"Having a baby with a broke man is kind of getting in the way of natural selection," the rich housewife said. "So let's not contribute to the downfall of evolution."
I can't tell if I love this or hate it. Obviously, Linda has some interesting takes, and let's call it high expectations, but she also has an adorable condescending tone.
