Ric Flair Denies Being Drunk At Gainesville Pizza Joint During Viral Video

As we close down another week of life, Ric Flair wants to clear the air on the incident that went down last Saturday at a Gainesville, Florida pizza joint.

During an interview with "The MJ Morning Show on Q105" on Wednesday, the Nature Boy set the record straight on what went down at Piesano's where there was some sort of confrontation in the restroom that led to a viral video where Ric went toe-to-toe with restaurant staff.

In the video, Ric, 75, is seen arguing with staff which escalated to the point where the 16-time world champion renamed the bartender "Nicholas Dickhead."

"It just escalated and I was wrong for getting mad, but I kind of felt like I was defending my position," Flair told Q105 while admitting he had a couple of Mich Ultras and maybe a couple of mixed drinks, but he denied being drunk.

Ric assured the radio show this was all over what went down in the bathroom.

"I was wrong for losing my temper," he added. "When I feel like I'm put in that area where I'm uncomfortable and all of a sudden everything just fell apart, I got upset.

"I was wrong for getting upset. I probably just should have just walked out the door, but it caught me so off-guard because we were having a wonderful time. Then all of a sudden ... someone in their kitchen said I did something wrong in the bathroom and there's no one there except me and him."

While it's hard to understand everything coming out of the Nature Boy's mouth, it sounds like this stemmed from Ric really needing to go to the bathroom and the guy from the kitchen taking too long.

Ric reminded Q105 that at his age, when you gotta go, you gotta go.
