Portal Between NYC & Dublin Shut Down Due To Inappropriate Behavior, Including Influencer Flashing Her Boobs

Someone thought it would be a good idea to create a visual art "portal" that connects New York City and Dublin, Ireland in real time via simultaneous live streams.  What could possibly go wrong by leaving the two portals open to the public?

Well, it turns out that there are some who took the opportunity to connect through the portal in unconventional ways.  Not exactly in line with what the artist envisioned as a way to "bring the world closer together."

"There's been a .1% interaction that includes some hateful messages, some nudity, and that ruins it for everyone," said James Mettham, president of the Flatiron Nomad Partnership, which operates the portal, reports FOX News. 

"So we're working closely with the portal team and the City Council in Ireland to figure out ways to make sure we can continue to show this.  The vast majority are really enjoying the fact that they can peer into the city like this."

One of those who took an unconventional approach to the portal was influencer Ava Louise.  Although I'd argue her use of the portal would actually bring the world closer together.

Nonetheless, she has taken credit for one of the incidents that led to the shutdown of the portal.  She says that she was the one in a viral video who stepped up to the portal and flashed her boobs - a longer version of the clip can be seen here.

Again, I'm not sure about any of the other actions that led to the pulling of the plug on the portal's livestream, but this one seems like it would certainly play a role in bringing people together.

Now, if Ava Louise's name sounds familiar, it's because she's pulled a viral stunt or two before.  She was out licking toilet seats for a "coronavirus challenge" early on in the pandemic.

The 25-year-old content creator also claimed that she had sex with Antonio Brown in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team hotel hours before his infamous exit from the NFL in 2022.

Talk about versatility.  Ava has the ability to do almost anything to chase a little clout.  That might rub some people the wrong way, not me.  I'm more of a hate the game, not the player kind of guy.

She took to Instagram earlier this week to take credit for shutting the portal down with her boobs.  She said, "So I just got the portal from New York City to Dublin shut down.  I thought the people of Dublin deserved to see my two New York homegrown potatoes."

That sounds like a reasonable explanation on Ava's part.  Those in charge of the portal disagree with her sharing of her potatoes.

To be fair to Ava Louise, it wasn't all her fault.  There have been reports of things like porn and the Twin Towers on fire being shared between the two portals.

Let's hope that when the portals eventually reopen they still allow some out of the box ways of bringing the world closer together.
